My dear Fathers/Brothers,

This is to remind you once again that the annual clergy retreat will commence on Sunday 18^th October 2009 with night prayers at 9.30pm and will end on Friday 23^rd October after lunch. It will be held in Dayasagar.

The retreat will be directed by Fr. George Puthenpura, C.SS.R. The theme of the retreat will be “Priests, You are saints”.  Nobody will be exempted from attending the retreat unless for very grave reasons and with the written permission of the bishop.

At the end of the retreat there will be a meeting of the presbyterium. It will be from 2.30pm till 5.00pm.

Those who need transportation from the bishop’s house to Dayasagar should reach before 7.00pm on 18^th.  A bus will take you from the bishop’s house at 7.00pm. Similarly a bus will take you back to the bishop’s house on Friday 23^rd October at 5.00pm.

Absolute silence will be observed from the time of the night prayers on 18^th till after the lunch on 23^rd.

Let these spiritual exercises be a moment of joy and fraternal communion during this Year of Priest is my prayer.
